Getting Started With MongoDB For CFML Developers

Over the last couple of years, “NoSQL” databases have been gaining popularity and generating quite a buzz in the application development world. MongoDB is one of the most popular of the NoSQL class of databases but many CFML developers find themselves wondering how how they can take advantage of the features it provides in their applications. We will talk about what MongoDB is (and isn’t), when you should (and shouldn’t) use it and examine a sample application that demonstrates how to work with MongoDB collections from both Adobe ColdFusion and Railo.
