Speed is the main ingredient of any good user interface, and delivering a fast UI can be a challenge on older browsers and mobile devices. This session will discuss why JavaScript is built for speed, how browsers draw things on the screen, and how to make it all as smooth as possible, even when you cant use CSS transitions.
