Writing jQuery UI/Mobile Widgets
In this session, we will learn the ins and outs of using the jQuery UI widget factory, including its use with jQuery Mobile. We will cover the differences between widgets and plugins, as well as when it is more appropriate to use a widget vs a plugin. We will also learn the basics of how to create a jQuery UI widget, along with implementing widgets to work with jQuery Mobile. A working knowledge of jQuery is advisable to get the most from this session.
