One of the reasons why NCDevCon is loved by speakers, sponsors and attendees alike, is the dedicated volunteers that make sure the right things happen at the right times. Many of our volunteers have been helping at NCDevCon since the beginning. While there is work to do, we are a fun crew, we make the work fun and make sure everyone gets plenty of time to enjoy the conference.
We usually have 10-15 volunteers. Each person helps out at different times and in different ways. This means you don't have to do all of this yourself. Also you'll have plenty of time for you to go to sessions and take part in conference activities.
If you can't afford the conference admission, you could consider becoming a volunteer. Each year, we have several volunteers who are students at area universities. We've also had several volunteers who want ain inside look at running an event. If you'd like to run your own conference one day, volunteer and let us know your intent. We'll be transparent and loop you in on the sorts of things related to event planning.
Below are some of the ways our volunteers help. If you'd like to volunteer, fill out the NCDevCon Volunteer Form.
