Building Cloud enable Hybrid Mobile Applications using HTML, JS, and CSS with Apache Cordova and Bluemix
Apache Cordova is an open source project that provides a platform compose of apis, packaging, and tools, to build native apps for the different mobile platforms such like Apple iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 8, an others. The project helps web developers use their programming skills to create hybrid Apps which can be distributed in the different Apps Stores. This sessions will start by giving a quick overview of the different parts of the architecture for the new version of Apache Cordova 3. Also will go deep into creating a sample app for iOS and Android sharing common code, then deploying and debugging the App on a smartphone, and adding cloud storage to persist and share data using one of the modern mobile backend as a services (MBaaS) that make it very easy to enable mobile Apps to make the data transparently available on all devices with minimum investment on time and resources.
