NCDevCon 2014 Session-SDLC Stories from the real world

SDLC Stories from the real world

This session focuses on how to manage a highly active codebase using infrastructure tools. Examples will all be "real world" examples using actual stories from customers and applications. All the examples shown will be mash ups of ColdFusion, DB, Mobile, and flavors of JS. The tools in play will be source control, continuous integration (jenkins), Code Review (Crucible and Fisheye), best practice guidance (CF Webtools standard), Wiki, and briefly unit testing (which deserves it's own session). We will focus on successful change management and effective deployment strategies. This session will be funny, entertaining and lively. I give you my word as a CFG.
