NCDevCon - Voting on Sessions Begins Next Week!

As you recall, we are switching things up this year to give our attendees more control over the conference they are paying for. We set up a system where ticket holders will be able to cast their vote on which sessions they like and want to see at the conference. We'll use the voting results to pick sessions and put together our schedule.

The call for speakers closed this week. We have 100+ submissions so the competition for the 35-40 spots will be pretty intense. We are in the process of organizing a way to take votes on sessions. It's a bit of extra work on our part, but we are very excited to give a voice on the direction of the conference to those who appreciate NCDevCon by purchasing advance tickets.

Who Gets To Vote?

You will get to vote if you have purchased a ticket before voting begins.  Voting will start on June 11th and last for  1 week.  Voting will close at midnight on the 17h of June. It'll take us probably until the end of the month to collate and organize everything. We'll let the speakers know whether their submission was accepted or not by the end of the month.

There is still some time left to get in on voting. Simply buy your ticket to NCDevCon before the end of the week and you'll be included in the session voting: http://ncdevcon.eventbrite.com/
